Now brand Immune Renew is a potent immune boosting mix of eight organic mushrooms and astragalus root. This formula is rich in anti-cancer and immunomodulating polysaccharides such as Lentinan, PSK (polysaccharide K), and Beta-1, 3D Glucan.
In addition to these polysaccharides, this mix contains:
- Canthaxanthin, which slows down the growth of tumors (found in Reishi mushrooms)
- Interfungins A, which posses anti-diabetic properties by acting as a protien glycation inhibitor (found in Phellinus Linetus)
- Oleanolic Acid, an antiviral and antitumor, which has also exhibited anti-HIV properties, and stimulates white blood cell production (found in Lion's Mane)
- Platelet aggregation reducing compounds (found in Shitake mushrooms)
- Amino acids, B vitamins, polypeptides, niacin, phosphorus, iron, calcium, and protein.
Studies have shown that the medicinal properties of mushrooms are strongest during their mycelial stage, therefore these mushrooms have been harvested during their vegetative states to ensure optimal mycelial biomass. In addition, the Astragalus root is guaranteed to have a minimum of 70% polysaccharides.
