Primaforce Cissus contains the natural supplement Cissus quadrangularis, a vine in the grape family. Cissus quadrangularis has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine primarily as a powerful treatment for pain and to speed up the repair of broken bones. Traditionally, Cissus has also been used to treat ailments as disparate as dyspepsia, ear and eye disorders, irregular menstruation and asthma, to name a few. Modern studies indicate that the benefits of supplementation with Cissus quadrangularis may be greater than previously known.

Cissus has a wide range of beneficial effects on the human body. Besides analgesic properties, it aids joint rehabilitation and maintenance by increasing the strength of bones and surrounding tissue. It has been observed that Cissus can increase the body’s uptake of minerals used to repair fractures.

The human body produces the cortisol hormone in times of physical or emotional stress. Cortisol is a glucorticoid that ignites a biological pathway that leads straight to bone and muscle degradation. Cissus quadrangularis exhibits anabolic and antiglucorticoid effects that prevent the breakdown from taking place.
