SAN's Stabilized Na-R-ALA represents a major new advancement in the science of sport supplement products. The R-ALA which has been marketed in the past has had a tendency to polymerize or degrade when exposed to heat, but since SAN's Na-R-ALA is a stabilized form it will not break down at high temperatures. It is also fully soluble in water, which allows it to be more easily absorbed in the intestinal tract. SAN's Stabilized Na-R-ALA is the first product in the world to contain Na-R-ALA, which is the sodium salt of R-Lipoic Acid (RLA). Recent scientific medical research has shown that the "R" isomer of Lipoic Acid has much more powerful antioxidant effects than the synthetic form, ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid R/S).

The sodium salt of SAN's R-ALA is also more stable and can be absorbed and used by the body more readily than Potassium R-ALA. It is absorbed easily by the cells that guard the mitochondria, the source of power for the cells, from damage by radicals. Despite the very difficult manufacturing process of Na-R-ALA, SAN has been fortunate enough to obtain material that is more than 85% pure. 117mg (85% Pure Biosolve Enhance Na-R-ALA) of this active form are contained in each recommended serving of Na-R-ALA, which gives in excess of 350% more benefit to the body than conventional forms of alpha lipoic acid (ALA). SAN Na-R-ALA Product Details:

SAN's Stabilized Na-R-ALA contains the worlds first form of Na-R-ALA, the sodium salt of R-Lipoic Acid (RLA). Unlike ordinary R-ALA, SAN's Na-R-ALA is a stabilized form of R-ALA that won't polymerize (degrade) at high temperatures. Na-R-ALA is fully water soluble and hence more effectively absorbed by the intestinal tract.

New Scientific Medical Research demonstrated that the powerful antioxidant effects of the "R" isomer of Lipoic Acid are far more valuable than its synthetic cousin ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid R/S). Additionally, SAN's sodium salt of R-ALA is more bioavailable and stable than Potassium R-ALA, R-ALA- plus it readily crosses over to cells- which in turn guard the mitochondria (the cells powerhouse factory) from radical damage.
